Private Room 203 in Guest House da Fonte

“Completamente desiludidos”

The only thing I liked was the location, but I couldn’t enjoy my stay because we left early; it was impossible to sleep under those conditions. The room was in terrible shape: the mattress was in a bad state, there was no proper bedding, and there were clear signs of poor hygiene and safety. There was also a serious access issue at night, with no help from the owner, leaving us at risk on the street. I reported the situation to Booking, but no solution was offered.

“Muito para melhorar.”

The place was well‑located. However, getting the keys was difficult because a master lock was broken. I felt all the springs on the mattress, the shower was broken and water splashed all over the bathroom, and the kitchen’s smell spread throughout the entire area.

Everything was damp, the mattress was awful, rain fell onto the bed, and the linens were stained. Horrible, to say the least.

“Wszystko zgodnie z opisem”

The location was good, the place was clean, and check‑in with a code was hassle‑free. For the price, you can be satisfied. The shared spaces were filled with noisy guests after 10 pm, who cooked very smelly food that seemed like Indian cuisine; the kitchen was downstairs, so the smells drifted into the sleeping areas. That said, those issues are not the host’s fault. The mattress was quite firm, and I don’t understand why it was flipped to the spring‑side.

It’s close to the bus station and train station. The place isn’t clean and has a strong unpleasant odor.
