The shop in front and the nearby Huddle House gave us exactly what we needed, yet the rooms smelled like weed, the phone was dead so I couldn’t call the office, and someone kept banging on our door even though we were not from there; a fresh paint job, new curtains, and better bedding might brighten things up.

They lied about the breakfast, the freezer was full of frost, and the extended‑stay residents made a lot of noise.
