It’s one of the better hotels in Yellowknife, with a great location where you can walk to a supermarket, restaurants, coffee shops, museums, etc.; the only downside is that only one elevator is working, so with many tour group guests it often takes a while to wait.

The hotel is a reasonable distance from downtown and a lake is close by; however, the higher price means no free breakfast, there is only one elevator that can’t even carry regular luggage, and the front desk could be friendlier.
