The property is just not kept up well at all. The caulk is bad. The paint is bad. The door isn't hung well and you can hear right through it. The AC unit is gross. The breakfast is very mid to low quality. The price was WAY too high for the quality

“Don't stay here!”

It was next to the event center where my boss was speaking the next day. Pretty much everything. The rooms were musty, so we had to open the windows, and by morning all 3 of us had turned off the AC units because we felt we could breathe better. Luckily, it wasn't too hot out. My co‑worker's room was missing smoke detectors and had a wet floor. TV didn't work in my room. My boss's room had stains on the carpet, the smoke alarm went off when she was in the shower. None of us dared walk on the floor without shoes or socks at the very least. Honestly, we considered leaving and driving back 15 miles to a nearby town to look at alternate lodging, but didn't have the time in our schedule to do this since my boss was speaking next door early the next morning. This hotel needs to be torn down and rebuilt as it is not on par with the attached meeting center.

“Unfortunate stay”

The girl at the front desk was very nice. Otherwise I wish there was another hotel in Sleepy Eye. The room was so humid the carpet felt wet and when we got dressed our clothes were wet. The carpet was dirty, the bathroom door was breaking apart. Also on the day we left they knocked on the door 3 times and called to ask us to leave all within 10 minutes of the check out time
