The reception staff were very friendly, the room was large and very comfortable, there was a kettle and an air‑conditioner, the bathroom was new and beautifully designed, the lighting was great, and we didn’t find the usual fiddly things; there is a separate locked room for bicycles, but the street location is a bit annoying.

When we arrived, the hotel was empty; the call was answered by a voice‑mail, and an elderly Chinese woman who could not speak a word of German or English tried to talk to us but failed.

Modern, freshly renovated rooms with excellent soundproofing even though the building sits right on a busy street. There’s a separate bike room that you can access with your room key card. The breakfast is pretty basic but still affordable. Wi‑Fi sometimes drops for a moment, yet the signal strength is otherwise solid.
