The countryside setting felt genuinely rustic, and the host was very friendly and helpful; she only spoke Romanian, but she immediately pulled up a mobile translator and we got along fine. The meals were generous and home‑style, and when you leave she hands you a small gift. The place could use a bit of upkeep, and they don’t accept card payments.

The owner is nice and polite and a fantastic cook—you can even ask her to prepare a lunch for you. The rooms were tidy and nicely set up, and the bathroom was clean too. The pillows in my room were very hard, and what really bothered us was the loud family party the owners threw after 10 pm. We understand they wanted to celebrate together, but offering lodging doesn’t make that fair to guests when quiet hours apply.

The hosts were extraordinarily hospitable. You could choose to have breakfast and dinner, and Mrs. Ioana is an exceptional cook. The pillows weren’t the most comfortable, but everything else was as we expected.
