23 SouS, a boutique hotel in Amsterdam’s historic Jordaan district, blends period charm with modern comfort. Each family room features private bathrooms, air‑conditioning, a work desk, and free WiFi, overlooking a tranquil garden or city skyline. The property offers private check‑in/out, concierge, outdoor play area, bike parking, and luggage storage. The location is convenient, close to the central station, the renovation is modern, the hosts are hospitable, and the room includes a fridge, coffee machine, kettle, coffee and tea pods, with small snacks left by the hosts; however, the semi-basement layout causes strong water‑pump noise, and there is also noise from the upper floor.

We stayed 9 days in the garden room and it was fantastic—hosts were wonderful, caring, attentive, and reachable on WhatsApp for any question or request. The bedding and bed were very comfortable and luxurious, and the room itself is spacious, equipped with a refrigerator, coffee station, dishes, and a table for simple breakfasts or sandwiches. The location is great: just a two‑minute walk to the bus stop that goes straight to the main train station, a five‑minute walk to a well‑stocked supermarket with a great vegan selection, and plenty of restaurants nearby.

Very clean and modern, located a short walk from the city centre. The hosts were extremely kind and flexible, and I’d recommend this place to a couple, a small family, or friends traveling together.
