The Labang family were extremely nice, helpful and friendly, making us feel right at home; we were the only guests (what a pity), yet we felt like part of the family. The water pressure was almost nonexistent, so a normal shower was a challenge, and there were problems with the food supply that limited variety, but every meal was prepared with love.

The location was great, customer service excellent, the long house very nice, and the food delicious. The only issue was that there was no WiFi connection in the rooms.

BaiSeri, the lady running the longhouse, was so sweet and caring, preparing three delicious meals each day. It was special to stay in an authentic longhouse steeped in history, just a 900 m walk from the airport. Bario was quiet, peaceful, and a great break from the jungle heat, with cute cats for company and a great library of books. The place could use a good spring clean, but that didn’t bother me much.

This is an excellent long house experience. You will be made to feel part of the family. There are three meals a day included and you will hear many stories of the history of Bario From David. The balconies is a great place to sit and relax
