We booked this hotel, and when we had car trouble we managed to get a taxi to the hotel half an hour later, only to find the place closed. We couldn’t reach anyone on the phone, neither locally nor at the main office. It was an absolute nightmare, really unfair that you can book a hotel at that time of night and nobody is there; it should not be, and I think the blame lies with and with the Martin group.

A typical English inn, so more charming than an international chain hotel. We were really out of our element! The pub/restaurant is busy and very good, though the room was small but comfortable.
