Cactus Petes Resort & Horseshu Hotel

The rooms were nice, close to the elevator, and clean, but the toilets were really short and low to the floor, making it hard for older guests to get up and down. We had booked on the Horseshoe side of Jackpot, but that side’s casino and all its amenities were closed, so we had to move to the Cactus Pete’s side, which was too far for my older sister to walk. We didn’t realize that everything would be shut on that side.

I think this hotel is the best. The only thing that bothered me was that housekeeping didn't check if you needed anything after staying more than two days. Other than that, I love this place.

The place was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. The only downside was that there weren't enough public restrooms.

“It gave a good nights rest as we traveled south.”

It was hard to find low‑carb options, but overall it was good. The staff were friendly! I wish there were more low‑carb choices and substitutions for the hash browns and the like.
