The location was beautiful, though there was nothing else nearby so we walked to the lake; the garden and pool were nice but were under renovation while we stayed, and the rooms were very nice. The hotel is mainly dry, serving alcohol in the room with a corkage charge; we would have liked a beer in the garden. The venue seems geared toward events but also offers a nice sanctuary from city noise.
