The building is simple but in a great spot for exploring Chiang Mai. The room had all the basics and the morning buffet was comparable to a breakfast. The room was a bit dark and damp, but overall nothing bad.

The room was clean and very spacious. The beds were very comfortable. We were especially surprised by the small but nice breakfast selection. Toast, juice, muesli, coffee, and bananas were free. The pool was a bit small and there were only 4 loungers for the whole hotel.

They served a bit of food in the morning, which is pretty reasonable; you can find something better at the same price. A critical point not mentioned in the description is that most rooms have a window facing the hallway unless you pay more. Now there's a curtain that hides it and some trees, but it's still very unpleasant to have a large window facing the hallway. It gives a sense of lack of privacy and is not comfortable at all. When I asked the front desk lady if she could move me to another room, she was flustered and pretended to be surprised. She reacted with a lot of shock instead of helping, as if she was annoyed by my complaint. She had a full conversation with me without helping at all, just making herself the victim while I was just a customer asking for help because I didn't like the room with the huge window. In short, she made me feel bad just by talking to her. At that price, even if it's not the highest, you can definitely find better value in terms of location, staff, or at least not have a huge hallway-facing window. The location isn't very pleasant; there's nothing around except a 7/11 and you have to walk a long way in the dark to get somewhere.
