The spot was perfect for catching a ferry or cruise the next morning, and the staff were lovely, welcoming, and helpful; the front desk was open 24/7, which was handy when we arrived late and needed to check in. We had a small meal in the evening that was tasty and seemed freshly prepared, and the restaurant area overlooking the harbour was nice. However, it was mostly booked in advance and very expensive for a single night, and the prices had risen since we first looked at the property in May. Finding the hotel in the dark was hard, and the staff later explained that they can’t put a hotel name board on the outside because the building is inside the maritime station.
