The staff were excellent and the restaurant next door was really good; we enjoyed our evening meal. However, breakfast was charged separately and wasn’t worth the money—just a cup of coffee and a few extra charges. We walked into town for a better breakfast and won’t have breakfast there again.

The place was relatively quiet (I had a room toward the back) and the city center is reachable on foot in 10‑15 minutes; the medical faculty is opposite. Cheap fast‑food and a small supermarket line the street, and an Italian restaurant is right next door but sometimes pricey. I didn’t notice any spa area—does it exist? A kettle in the room would have been nice for the price. Only public parking nearby, sometimes a bit of searching required. The rate is already steep for Bulgarian standards; with a discount it’s 110 € for two nights in a single room without meals.

The location was personally convenient for work at MU Pleven, with a pleasant atmosphere and close to shops and the city center. I had visited the hotel before; now the room, especially the bathroom, was in worse condition, and the fan didn’t even work.
