Excellent location, nice room, and a friendly host. I would have liked a cappuccino or espresso with breakfast, but they were only available as a pricey extra.

The house is well situated for those who don’t want to be in the city center or deal with a lot of noise, and it’s a good base for hikes or bike rides. The owner is very friendly and the staff are accommodating. You can sit outside and enjoy a beautiful view of nature. I was unlucky to book a single room on one of the hottest weekends; it’s in the attic, has no air‑conditioning, and the mattress is protected by a rubber pad under the sheet. I get why that’s done, but you end up sweating in your own juices during the high summer heat. Many reviews praise the breakfast, but I’m not picky and found it to be an ordinary breakfast, nothing special.

The view from the breakfast room into nature was great, but the bike room was far too cramped and the bike storage cost 2 € per day while the on‑site car parking was 5 € per day, which we found odd.

“Ein nettes kleines Hotel in das wir gerne wiederkommen”

The property sits on the outskirts of Waren, very quiet, letting us relax while still being a short walk to the harbor. The furnishings were a bit dated but still acceptable.
