“A pousada é linda e os funcionários são muito atenciosos.”
The hotel is new, clean, spacious, and has a view, but the blogger guests are noisy and breakfast is lacking.

The pousada looked beautiful in the photos. There were only a few power outlets near the desk table, and given the level of the property, better lighting options would have been nice; some spots lacked illumination. Occasionally I couldn’t use the internet on my laptop and had to set up my own connection to work.

The structure is beautiful. The reception and breakfast area are surrounded by wonderful tropical plants, and the setting blends perfectly with the island. The view of the iconic Fernando mountain is unique! The pool area offers stunning sunsets. The staff were always very courteous and helpful. For the price of about 800 euros per night, we felt the view didn’t live up to expectations because we couldn’t see the mountain directly; a garden blocked the view first. Also the breakfast offering fell short—there was limited variety, and when we wanted avocado toast one day, the avocado was missing. One evening at dinner we asked for the chicken on the menu, but they said it wasn’t available. At that price, these shortcomings are unacceptable.
