“Jauka pieredze!”
The night was wonderful, almost a castle. Note that this isn’t the main castle but an adjacent building, which is still great. It isn’t a very small place, but it’s partially renovated, with shiny floors, doors that don’t rust, huge windows, and a bit of adventure. We arrived in the dark, so in the morning we saw where we were – the castle building is next to it, under renovation, and the contrast between the building we stayed in and the adjacent building is quite large. The castle is about a 40‑minute drive from Cotbus (German border). Everything is clean and tidy. Breakfast is very adequate, coffee is tasty. The surroundings are the most impressive, with the gates, the old brickwork, and the buildings that are surrounded by the castle in a half‑circle. It was nice that we could check in late at night after I called and warned that we would be late; the receptionist said there were no problems, only that the restaurant would already be closed. Cars can be parked next to the castle. Continuing the road to the Polish side, we reached a Soviet‑era abandoned war base, which was also an interesting adventure. Thanks for the lovely overnight stay! The whole experience was nice, thank you for the adventure vibe!
