The rooms on the top floor were large with a shared balcony. Breakfast was nice, just missing vegetables. The owners were very friendly, but there was a language barrier—they didn’t speak English. In the evenings there was no spot to sit for tea, play games, or snack; it felt empty and lifeless.

Breakfast was tasty every day, the staff were friendly, the beds were very clean and comfortable, and the location was perfect for walking to town and the central square. The value was exceptional. Occasionally the street noise got a bit loud.

“A home away from home! Safe for solo female travellers, clean and very comfortable.”

La Florida felt like my second home. As a solo female, I felt completely safe exploring the neighborhood. The owners and staff made my two‑week stay special, always caring and curious about what I was doing. The breakfast they made was delicious and filling. I loved the beautiful views from my room and balcony, the quiet nights, the comfortable beds, and the spotless rooms. Wi‑Fi was strong, and they offered snacks and bottled water for purchase. They also provided laundry services and stored my luggage. I loved it here and will miss it a lot. Nothing was missing—the property was beautiful.
