Price and cleanliness. A rooster next to the property made noise from 11 pm until sunrise. I was lucky to arrive during the day to find the property down a laneway and off a main road that had barking dogs.

The location was in a nice little pocket. I liked that it was a short walk from the big hotels, and there was much more culture, which I wanted. It was safe and clean. Nothing at all. I was traveling solo, stayed 5 nights, and couldn’t fault the place.

The location and price were probably the best deal I could find. The front desk staff only arrived after a half‑hour delay and only after we called to let them know we had arrived; if we hadn’t called, we wouldn’t have known how to check in. Nobody came to let us out at checkout. The place reeks of dogs, rats roam in the courtyard, there’s no hot water, and the neighboring dogs aren’t on leashes, bark loudly and scare us.

The spot was very convenient and the room was spotless, and even though the property is small it felt cozy – great value for the price. The room’s ventilation is poor, so it becomes very stuffy when the air conditioner is off. The address was incomplete and we were sent the wrong house number in the messages. When we arrived there was no one there, so we had to wait a while to check in.
