“Зелёный оазис”

I landed at 3 am, having arranged the check‑in time in advance. The driver struggled to locate the address; when we tried to call the hotel, the calls were dropped and the line was eventually turned off. We only found the place because the driver didn’t abandon us and asked a passerby for directions. When we finally arrived, the sleepy boy at the desk said there was no reservation—he looked at his phone, called the owner, and everything was sorted right away. The location is 5‑7 minutes from Registan, and the house is surrounded by greenery, singing birds, swings, and a topiary, which makes it a great spot to relax and chat with other guests. The veranda hosts a hearty breakfast with eggs, porridge, cheese, sausage, flatbread, butter, sweets, jam, tea, coffee, and kefir—tasting like home. The room is cozy, featuring a table, chair, wardrobe, and nightstands. The beds are medium‑firm, with warm blankets, and there are a few toiletries (soap, shampoo, shower gel) plus a hair dryer. It was the best accommodation among the three cities I visited.

The location was decent, but there was no reception desk and no one to speak to except through gestures. The room was small, the bathroom had a sewage smell, and the breakfast was incomparable to Uzbek hospitality, which I remember from my six years living in Uzbekistan.

The staff were very friendly, and when I told them I’d be leaving early in the morning, they prepared a breakfast and brought it to my room. On the second day, the Wi‑Fi didn’t work, which was inconvenient and I had to check it out.

The location is perfect, within walking distance to Registan square. The lounge area is nice and a great place to meet other travelers. The birds can get noisy early in the morning.

The lodging is excellent, everything is clean and organized, and it’s quiet. The street is under construction, so taxis can’t reach it, but it’s close to an avenue. The breakfast is amazing and the staff are very welcoming. The experience is excellent.
