“Hotellet var alt det man kun håbe på. Alt var som det skulle være og man kunne virkelig bare have en afslappende dag ude”
The staff were simply so sweet, and the place gave the perfect vibe for a solid relaxation. I also had my birthday the day we left, and they were very kind and arranged a nice birthday cake. The only downside was a bit of construction noise from the new building site.
“As friendly as the staff were, the place isn’t up to par with what you pay for a resort getaway.”
You feel tucked away in the north of the island, and the small staff were friendly. They ask you to throw your dirty toilet paper in the trash—gross and unhygienic. The beachfront looks nice until you step in and see all the litter. Staff were friendly but often hard to find anyone. The reception desk and breakfast were over an hour late almost every day. Laundry service tries to charge per article of clothing, like one pair of pants is 50k alone. A local laundromat and everywhere else I’ve been is about 50k per kilo.
“Super rahulik paradiisi-oaas”
The staff were very friendly and spoke good English. The garden was gorgeous, very quiet and peaceful. The beach had a mix of rocks and sand. There were plenty of nice private spots on the beach and in the garden. The houses were super clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, kids loved it, and there were many choices. It’s a great place to relax far from the hustle. The only downside was the location: getting a taxi was difficult because the area is remote and there’s nothing special to do nearby.
“Slice of paradise”
If I could give a 12, I would; it’s a slice of paradise! In low season we were basically the only guests. The sea was flat and clear, there were two pools, and the staff were amazing. Breakfast wasn’t a buffet, but we could pick à la carte. On the second day our cappuccinos were handed out right in front of us without asking 😁 The sea‑front bungalow had connecting doors so we and the kids had our own little house. It was close to complimentary kayaks and a well‑equipped outdoor gym. A few bikes were available, and the resort staff organized scooters for us. Pierre from the sailing school (super friendly too!!!) could have taught us sailing if we had more time. There are a couple of restaurants nearby, but if you’re not a top seafood eater (like us) just stay in Peppercorn. Everything from the kitchen, including homemade brownie ice cream, was tasty and far better than the surrounding spots, and the price/quality/quantity was better too. If you can pick one place to go on Phu Quoc, definitely choose this one! Everything was great!
“Beautiful spot with amazing views”
Right by the beach, the daily breakfast was tasty, and there were no complaints—overall a fantastic stay.
