The place is in the historic center; one of the two room windows looks toward the town hall, while the parking and the modern building are just a few steps away. The rooms feel a bit old-fashioned, like a country house, but everything is clean and tidy, and the newer bathrooms and windows are brand‑new and high quality. The mattress is very soft, topped with the legendary topper. In the common room guests can use the kettle, teas, crackers, etc. I’ll probably return with a couple of friends who visit Rome often; from Fabrica it’s much easier to reach all those fascinating sites in Northern Lazio. For breakfast (included in the price) the owner told me I could go to the nearby bar and choose whatever I liked. The bar is nice and has a wide variety, but I would have preferred a simple instant coffee before finishing my prep and heading out.

“Ero a Fabrica per un incontro con degli amici romani e ho approfittato per passare 3 giorni in bici intorno alla zona. B”

The location was great and Massimo was always friendly and helpful, but the breakfast could use fresh bread instead of crackers since there’s a nearby oven.
