The facilities were good and the room stayed cool because of the climate. Only one staff member was not very receptive or helpful, but everything else went smoothly.

The overall atmosphere for accommodation was good, but the bathroom was on a different floor.

“would never return”

The Brazilian manager and the location are the only redeeming factors, while the kitchen is fairly decent but could use more utensils. The other receptionists were useless; I never got a single hot shower, and the water was freezing cold. French staff are supposedly not fond of showers, but this is unacceptable. On 22/09 the male night‑shift receptionist was as helpful as a rock on the street: when I mentioned no hot water, he simply said the shower was broken and offered no solution. The second night had no hot water either. The other receptionists were so unfriendly that I stopped looking at them altogether. The keycards often failed to open doors, but the main reason I won’t return is the persistent lack of hot water, especially now that nights are getting colder.
