“Convenient, comfortable but won’t stay again”

The location was convenient for the TECA. The heating controls in my room were stuck on hot the first night but were fixed the next night. There were no biscuits in the room.

“Won't be back”

The hotel was so understaffed it was almost ridiculous. Dinner food standards were poor. The staff were nice and did their best, except for one barmaid, and I had to wait 15 minutes to check in because there was only one receptionist. The pillows were nonexistent, soft but offered no support, and the uneven mattress left me with a sore neck. It looked nice, but it wasn’t. Breakfast was also lacking.

“restaurant very poor, recommend to avoid !!! hotel pretty good”

The staff were very good and the room was very clean, with a very comfortable bed. The restaurant was unbelievably bad: it took an hour for our food to arrive, the pasta was overcooked and practically drowned in water, and the steak was undercooked. Over the three‑day stay the restaurant was severely short‑staffed; the few staff who were there did their best, but the food was just horrible!!!

A great stay overall – the staff were very friendly, and both dinner and breakfast were lovely. The bed felt a bit firm, but that’s just my take. We really enjoyed our time here.

“Fab hotel with fab staff, will definitely visit again”

The hotel was beautiful, with wonderful, friendly and very helpful staff. We were staying with two small children and the restaurant staff couldn’t have been more attentive and accommodating to their picky eating habits; we really appreciated their patience.
