The hotel is in a great spot, just a stone’s throw from the public‑transport stop to reach the city centre and the station, and there are several restaurants nearby. The rooms are clean and welcoming, as is the lobby. Water dispensers are on every floor and tea and coffee are available 24 hours; the breakfast buffet is fantastic, so I would recommend it.

Breakfast was very good, the hotel and rooms were clean, and water was available on every floor; the location is excellent, a 20‑minute walk from the city centre and just two train stops away, but the rooms were very basic.

The location is excellent, close to the center, and the breakfast is very good, but there was no fridge in my room.

The breakfast was excellent, but the first room assigned was uninhabitable due to a terrible sewage smell, so I requested a different room, which was possible. However, in the new room the shower still carried a lingering cat‑urine odor, and in the morning the sewage smell returned. Room 110, and my colleague in room 132, both experienced unpleasant odors in the morning. Additionally, 235 CHF for such a small room seems a bit excessive, and the inability to reserve a parking spot in advance is surprising—other IBIS hotels in Switzerland allow that.
