The proximity to the Beauval Zoo is great, but the owner demands extra fees beyond what we already paid on Booking; call the property first to confirm the real price or you might face unpleasant surprises upon arrival.

The location is ideal—under 10 minutes from Zooparc de Beauval and less than 2 minutes on foot from a large public parking lot and a good pizzeria. The room and house are impeccably clean, with air‑conditioning that’s useful in August, a lovely garden, and hosts who love to welcome guests. Breakfast includes homemade jams. However, you have to juggle several keys (one for the house, one for the room, one for the toilet) and the room names aren’t listed on the doors; adding them would be a simple fix. If the hallway lights turned on automatically at night, that would be great. Also, a bit more salty items at breakfast would be welcome.
