Hotel Orkin

The hotel was very friendly, with staff at the front desk that were exceptionally helpful. We booked a four‑bedroom suite that offered more than enough space. Breakfast was simple but completely sufficient, providing everything needed for a good start to the day. For the otherwise high prices in Iceland, the Orkin Hotel is a real bargain! Great value for money – absolutely recommendable. The only downside might be that school groups could be staying there, which could make it a bit noisier.

The car was parked in the hotel’s parking lot and was taken from it at a high price. There is a good chance that the key that was in the room was used on the car.

The beds were comfortable, the breakfast was plentiful and varied, and the check‑in and check‑out were easy. It was a perfect starting point for exploring the city.
