Finding modern, cosy lodging on Kericho‑Litein Road was hard, so I booked a week‑long stay at Fahari Cedar. Most places there have noisy bars and car washes, but Fahari Cedar surprised me with its calmness despite being only a few metres from the busy road. It felt like a big house with ample living space. I reserved a spacious 2‑bedroom apartment with a dining room that doubled as my office; I brought a lot of training material and the space was perfect. The kitchen was well‑equipped, there was a smart TV with internet, and the bathroom supplies were clean. The staff welcomed me and a colleague who visited midweek; the guard washed my car daily without being asked, which I appreciated, even though a small fee was expected. I enjoyed exploring the area and walking through the tea plantations each morning for sunrise views. I would definitely book again for future projects. The only downside was that when my colleague left, an attendant locked the second bedroom and bathroom, which seemed odd since I had paid for the whole apartment.
