The setting is great. The room was cold, the radiator was only lukewarm, and the hotel itself feels tired.

Breakfast and the bar are good, but the entrance looks a bit scruffy.

I chose the location for the health club. The steam room in the club was broken, condiments weren't refilled daily, towels weren't changed, there were no sockets by the bed, and the TV should have been mounted on the wall. I should have booked a Seaview room instead of a carpark view. It was very noisy at the back in the morning.
