The only bright spot was the location, and overall the room and hotel were fairly clean. The place doesn’t live up to a 4‑star rating; a 3‑star would be more accurate. Breakfast was very modest. Our room, 019, opened directly onto the hotel entrance and reception, with windows overlooking a noisy street. The room was large but noisy and poorly positioned, and the reception staff were not very friendly.

The location was excellent and the staff were very accommodating; we were able to switch rooms because a friend couldn’t handle the stairs, which we really appreciated. Breakfast was also very good, with a wide selection that kept us energized for a day of exploring. The shower lacked proper ventilation, or it wasn’t working, so it stayed very humid; we simply left the window open all day and that was fine.
