It was cheap, but some of the staff were not very friendly and the rooms were very small, yet it was a good value.

The staff were unfriendly, the advertising was misleading (no air conditioning was advertised but there was none, and it did not cool).

The room was clean and the breakfast buffet was good, but at night there were 6 (!!!) bed bugs in the room. For autumn it might be normal that the bugs want warmth, but I had the window closed, so the bugs were probably already there; I set them all back outside. The next morning I informed the hotel staff, who shrugged and acknowledged it.

The room had a strong cold‑smoke smell even though it was a non‑smoking room.

The hotel was filthy. We avoided showering because the floor, the shower, and the toilet still bore marks from the previous guest. The windows and frames had not seen water in months, dust piled on the furniture, and dust visibly danced in the air. After arrival the reception was closed, so we could only file a complaint the next morning. The offered replacement room for that morning was rejected after inspection; it was just as dirty as our first room. We left after the first night and found a cleaner hotel. Hallways and escape routes were blocked by full laundry carts! Complaints were impossible outside reception hours. The entrance door stays open 24 hours and is accessible to anyone. Security? A hygiene and safety review should be carried out.
