“Gracious hospitality in Kenmare”

The lady at the desk gave a truly hospital‑style greeting, immediately offering a pot of tea to complete the welcome. The staff were lovely, the hotel had great character and a convenient location, and parking was available on the premises; we only wished we could have stayed longer. We’ll be back!

We appreciated the luxurious house‑hotel vibe, friendly staff, and relaxed atmosphere. The hotel was very clean and everything felt high‑end, though the bathroom was very small and the room itself was on the smaller side.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the rooms were beautifully appointed with good amenities. The hotel was very quiet and had a fabulous location in the centre of Kenmare. The lack of blinds or nets on windows overlooking the street made us feel uncomfortable, so we kept the drapes closed when leaving the bathroom.

“Nice location but we thought it was overpriced for our 2 night stay with no breakfast.”

The location is great, though parking is a little tight; we still managed to find a spot. The staff are very friendly and polite, and the overall cleanliness of the hotel is excellent. The general seating areas are lovely and comfortable. Our room was at the front of the hotel, so it was noisy at night and we could hear music from the downstairs café each morning. The bathroom door wouldn’t close easily—the handle is awkwardly positioned—and there was no hot water in the bathroom sink. The bar menu options were a little poor, and we didn’t feel enticed to eat there.

The location is great, the staff are very helpful and professional, and the stay isn’t expensive but offers great value. There was nothing to complain about at all!
