I wish there were eateries inside the hotel—set meals, ramen, izakaya, the works.

“快適”

I stayed solo but the amenities were all there, which was good. After showering and soaking in the tub, I looked under the sink; it seemed cleaned, but I was concerned about mold or rust.

The staff’s hospitality was great, especially the female attendant at the breakfast restaurant who paid such careful attention. The equipment feels old, the room lighting can’t be dimmed, and the rates are on the higher side with no sense of value. Still, the excellent service leaves no lingering complaints.

“東北人は優しかった”

I really appreciated the hotel’s service touches, like the sake tasting and the Inanawa udon, and being able to grab coffee at any hour was a nice perk; they even gave us ice cream. The staff at the breakfast restaurant were friendly enough to strike up casual conversation, which made the atmosphere feel welcoming. The only inconvenience was the distance from Yuzawa Station—about an eight‑minute walk in the heat, which was a bit tiring, though not enough to justify taking a taxi.
