Bolivian Heights Hostel

This is my second stay here, and the location near the terminal is good. The breakfast is tasty, the room is comfortable, there’s luggage storage, and the common areas are spacious for the time between check‑out and the bus departure if you leave in the evening. The hotel’s internet is poor; it would be better if foreigners had an internet plan, roaming, or international SIM cards, but sometimes that isn’t the case, so that’s an area to improve.

“Ich würde wieder kommen”

There are plenty of bathrooms, everything was clean, and the location was super central (3 minutes on foot to the bus station and only about 10 minutes to the city centre). It’s great that there’s a free water dispenser, and the laundry service worked well. Because I had to leave before the official breakfast time, I even received a breakfast tray early! The only downside is that there’s no kitchen, which you should be aware of (but it wasn’t a problem for me for just one night).

The hotel sits in a quiet corner, far enough from the hustle that you can actually hear yourself think. The staff were on point – friendly and quick to help. I also liked the breakfast room; it was tidy and had a decent spread.

“Well located, great value, and genuinely helpful staff who went out of their way for me”

Being just three minutes from the buses to Copacabana and Lake Titicaca made getting out early a breeze, and the front‑desk guy went above and beyond – he held my bags, took care of laundry and even set up an early breakfast before I left. The restaurant crew were pleasant too, and overall the price felt right for what you get.
