The rooms were spotless and comfy, the AC worked well, showers were great, and the sheets smelled fresh. The pool was clean and the outdoor area was nice, plus the staff were excellent. The only weak spot was breakfast: the savory section had limited choices, the fruit selection was sparse, and some items ran out without being restocked.

It’s a fantastic spot, just a stone’s throw from Ferradura Beach. Walking to restaurants isn’t many, but a car or Uber gets you to Búzios’s main sights in no time. Breakfast is solid and the staff’s hospitality shines. You can also order lunch at the lodge for an extra fee—something not all inns offer. They even have plenty of toys for kids, which is a nice touch. The only downside is the mattress, which felt too soft for my taste.
