The spot is spot‑on – right by the metro and a short bus ride gets you to the Forbidden City, the outlet and the city centre. I’ve been coming here for years on business trips, and the breakfast is reliably decent, though they charged a deposit on my card that we ended up spending on the meals.

Breakfast here hits the spot – tasty and satisfying. The downside is that the rooms and fixtures look pretty worn, so a renovation would do the place a lot of good.

The hotel’s location is handy, just a stone’s throw from the metro and a shopping mall, and the beds were comfortable enough with a fridge and kettle provided for tea and coffee. However, the room and bathroom feel a bit tired and dated, and the surrounding area is pretty quiet despite the nearby mall.
