I had a wonderful stay here, surrounded by beautiful and tranquil scenery. The staff made me feel right at home, and my room was spacious, comfortable, and well-appointed. The breakfast each morning was exceptional, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Overall, it was a fantastic experience.

I appreciated the peaceful and quiet atmosphere of this place, which made for a relaxing stay. However, my room was a bit of a letdown, feeling cluttered and overwhelming. To make matters worse, the breakfast on my first day was a disappointment. Despite these issues, I still managed to enjoy my stay.

“A truly mythical place indeed”

I was blown away by the exceptional location and the hotel's unique art deco style, which was complemented by exquisite artwork and decor. The owner, Tjaart, was an outstanding host who made our stay truly special. However, I did encounter some issues with the hotel's amenities, including slow internet, an outdated TV, and a few maintenance problems. Despite these quirks, I had a fabulous stay and would highly recommend it.

“Shangri-la lives up to its name!”

I was struck by the absolute serenity of this place, which was nestled in a beautiful valley surrounded by hills and trees. The atmosphere of the house and gardens was warm and inviting, and I felt truly welcome. In fact, I was so impressed that I couldn't think of anything that I would have changed.

“Birthday weekend”

I loved the lovely views and great pool, as well as the decor, which featured some beautiful paintings. My room was spacious and had a lovely patio, and I appreciated the special treatment I received on my birthday. The host was friendly, and the wine selection was impressive. My only regret was that I couldn't have dinner at the venue, but there was a high-quality local restaurant nearby.
