“Pleasant and comfortable, but it could use some refreshing to match the level of the restaurant downstairs”
A pleasant hotel‑restaurant, with a comfortable room that’s fairly well insulated from the noise of the bar and restaurant downstairs. It somehow feels a bit like a youth hostel. No air conditioning, and the windows open onto the road with streetlights.

The staff were very friendly. According to the site there should have been a pool, massage, and wellness area, but that turned out not to be the case. The showers were very dirty with thick mold, and one shower had a broken screen. In my room there was a wardrobe that was so crooked it almost fell over. The kids’ bed was missing several slats, so one of the kids slept in the bed with us. After speaking with a local resident, we were told we were in a back‑neighbourhood and it was better not to go out on the street at night. We were also advised not to leave the car in view.

The place is well‑located and the accommodation is cute. The staff were very friendly and it never got too hot even though there’s no AC. The nearby hiking trails are nice. On Friday night the restaurant downstairs was quite noisy, but I didn’t hear it in my room. The kitchen is nice. The listing claims a “fitness‑center”, but there isn’t one on site. I’m not sure about other activities. Brestanica’s public swimming pool is 700 metres away and was free for everyone from 6‑7 pm. The bathroom and toilet locks need fixing as some don’t work or are hard to use. The kitchen isn’t fully equipped – it’s missing an oven, a cutting board and oven mitts – but I still managed to cook.

W ofercie była możliwość skorzystania ze śniadania ale pani wieczorem była zaskoczona jak zapytaliśmy o godzinę śniadania i oznajmiła ze śniadania w ofercie nie mają. Łóżka skrzypią przy każdym odwróceniu się w nocy. Ogólnie za te pieniądze odradzam

A huge hostel that I booked solo turned out to be a quirky adventure. The staff were friendly and my room had a comfortable bed. The shared facilities feel a bit old but they function. It’s a great deal for the price. The downside was the lack of air conditioning and the noise from the road and river when I opened the window.
