The rooms were clean and cozy, and the location was excellent, but the pet fee was a negative point; when I booked the lodge said it accepted pets, yet no clear info about an extra charge was given, and only upon arrival was I told I’d have to pay to bring my dog, so this should be clarified at booking so guests can decide beforehand.

I booked this place by mistake; it wasn’t supposed to be in Brazil, but I thought it was the Porto residence in Portugal, sent an email, and no one replied—so I spent my money without being able to use the amount paid because I was in Trindade in Porto, Portugal, not in Trindade in Brazil.

Everything was clean, the shower was hot, and the double bed was good; however, the single bed had a spring mattress that was uncomfortable for either an adult or a child to sleep on.
