Emanuela, the lady currently (August 2026) running a property that’s falling apart, does it as well as possible. She’s available, kind, and full of attentiveness toward guests. Every morning she made us find breakfast, brought fresh fruit, and always had cool water outside the room. She’s a wonderful person, rarely encountered. She tried to accommodate problems, always with a courteous smile. Everything else was terrible. The room had no air‑conditioning (though it was listed, it’s unimaginable to sell rooms for 70€ without AC in August 2026). Our room had a bird nest in the ceiling beams, a wasp nest in the bathroom, and cobwebs on the ceiling. Apart from ordinary cleaning (bedsheets, floors, shower, bathroom) which was fine, some major maintenance was needed. The shower head detached as soon as I turned on the water. For 70€ a night we didn’t expect five stars, but we also didn’t expect such conditions. A jacuzzi tub is mentioned in the amenities, but it’s abandoned, as is the rest of the property. Emanuela offered us a room change, but the owner was behind the scenes and we didn’t want to push her. It’s a shame because the location is truly beautiful, surrounded by vineyards with a stunning view… it could aim much higher. I also wanted to note that Booking’s support is non‑existent in every respect. Emanuela does what she can, and certainly more than she should.
