The spot was great, and the old‑school vibe was a highlight. But when I left in the morning, nobody was there, and I wanted to talk to the manager about my experience, which felt pretty ordinary.

The room itself was roomy. However, we were on the third floor, and the ad said there was a private bathroom, but it turned out to be a floor below. The narrow, winding staircase with tight steps made it hard to haul our small suitcase up. We also had to squeeze through a low‑ceiling corridor, bending if we were a bit tall. When we realized we’d have to repeat that trek at night to reach the bathroom, we asked if another room was available, but they said it was full. We decided not to stay and look elsewhere. The person who received us was ready to try swapping rooms with another guest, but we ultimately declined, even though we’d lose our payment. The location is currently under renovation for at least a few months, so I definitely wouldn’t recommend it until it’s finished.
