Hotel Engel am Bahnhof

The hotel is very centrally located and has a parking lot, and the staff are friendly. However, there is no elevator and there is a step in the room.

“Tolles Hotel, super freundliches Personal - man fühlt sich willkommen”

This is a very lovely small hotel that feels like home. The in‑house restaurant is superb, and there is also a great bar downstairs for a drink. I really enjoyed the little break. The location is on the railway line, but you get a lake view, and at night you can sleep with earplugs even with the window open.

“Verkehrstechnisch sehr gute Lage, direkt am Bahnhof und am See, aber dadurch auch viel zu laut .”

The reception was very friendly and accommodating. The night was noisy because you cannot sleep with the window open; the trains are too loud. My room was on the 3rd floor and there was no lift. These details should be mentioned in the hotel descriptions. I also find it too expensive.

“Für Kurztrip mit dem Zug zu empfehlen”

The location is great, right by the train station with a view of the lake. The breakfast could be better; many items are packaged. The train is naturally very loud because of the location.
