The room was comfortable and reasonably priced, shared bathrooms were clean and modern, the pub downstairs served excellent meals, and the staff were helpful and friendly. No negatives – excellent quality old‑school pub accommodation.

The renovation of the older‑style country hotel was very good; the room was pleasant and comfortable, cleanliness was excellent, and the shared bathrooms had a delightful makeover and were sparkling clean.
