The building and decorating has a luxury feel. The staff were very happy and pleased to welcome us. The only downside for us was a soft mattress so didn't sleep too well.

Big rooms, good location, comfortable beds. A staff member let himself into the room before allowing us to open the door. Breakfast was lukewarm.

The location is very good, you can reach a lot on foot. The historic building is very atmospheric and well restored. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The rooms are partially very untidy. You could not see from the windows because they were so dirty. The breakfast buffet was partially a bit untidy. Here you would want more attentive staff.

The building looked good and the reception was good. The bedroom and bathroom were very clean and big, the bed very comfortable and breakfast was good. I could not believe the poor food service in the bar/restaurant. I ordered starters and 2 main meals. It took an hour for our main meals to come after complaining several times, which was better than the starters that never came. When two girls, one of whom took our order, eventually brought our mains we said "how about our starters?". The reply was "haven't you had them", "No we haven't" we replied. The excuses were they all of a sudden got busy but they weren't when we ordered and the system failed to pass on the mains order but starters had gone through but we never got the starters.

The staff were excellent. Really polite, welcoming and helpful. You felt so comfortable. Restaurant staff were fantastic The reception staff were great at listening and helping with problems. View from my window
