The reception was terrible, the place was awful, dirty everywhere, bad smell, hygiene was deplorable, it felt unsafe in every way, the bed had bedbugs, the towels seemed used and left that way, the bed had fluids of dubious origin so I left immediately. Still, I paid in advance and after trying to get my money back there was no solution, so I lost the whole reservation.

The lake Chapala views are pretty, the scenery and nature are nice, and getting there is easy. The place feels very cold and they only provide a thin blanket for you to cover yourself, plus there's no hot water in the shower.

Everything we liked: the facilities, the atmosphere, the location, the proximity – everything was beautiful, romantic and calm for rest. No cold water came from the basin and the shower water couldn't be regulated, it was either too hot or too cold.
