The location is great, near restaurants and shops, but it felt like people were living in the suites; there was a lot of nighttime noise and foot traffic, and the bedding, carpet, and AC units were all outdated— the AC unit was so loud I had to turn it off and open windows instead, so my 3‑year‑old daughter couldn’t sleep and kept waking up at all hours because of the noise and people talking in other rooms and the hallway.

We didn’t have time for breakfast, and the bathroom tub filled with water, the cooler was neither cold nor warm, the hot tub was closed, and there were no pool towels during the days we were there.

The place was clean and the breakfast was included, but the coffee tasted awful. I didn’t like the hallway smell, the bathroom faucets were hard to turn on, and pulling them felt like they might pop out of the wall; it took me a while to figure out how to get the shower working.

The housekeeping staff were helpful and did a good job. Our key cards didn’t work on the exterior doors, so we had to rely on other guests to prop them open or let us in, which was a huge safety concern. Half the time they didn’t even work on our room door, and I had to stand holding my sleeping 4‑year‑old in the hallway while my husband ran to the front desk at 10:30 pm to ask for a new key. I booked the room for 4 days because breakfast was included, and it advertised a hot tub. Breakfast was out of service 3 of the 4 days (when we did have it, it was good) and the hot tub apparently hasn’t worked for years. We didn’t even try the pool; the facilities are old and run‑down. My husband got stuck in the elevator on floor 4 for 15 minutes while we were leaving, so we had to drag all our bags down 4 flights of stairs. I booked the room with a kitchenette and there was a butter knife in the drawer that had a burnt‑black blade.
