“Nice , comfortable quirky hotel but a bit pricey.”

We had two very comfortable rooms, but the weather kept us from using the rooftop pool. The front desk staff were generally friendly, while the bar staff were mixed; one man spilled most of our wine bottle and then left. Breakfast was mainly continental with hot items available on request. We used the spa a few times and found it excellent. The only complaints were a few mosquitoes in the reception area and the lobby bar—stay covered, they bite a lot. I probably wouldn’t pay extra for a sea view.

Nice hotel, the pool and rooftop are fantastic. Soundproofing is excellent; I stayed during a busy week with parties, and the second I closed my door, it was silent. The staff were very helpful and spoke English far better than my Spanish. The rooms are starting to show minor wear and tear, but nothing that would stop me from staying.

“Genial”

The staff were friendly and the breakfast was good. The bathroom lacks a general door; it’s open with only a door for the shower and WC, and the sinks are open.

We arrived at the MiM on 30 September and the check‑in was excellent. The room was clean and spacious enough, though the wardrobes offered little hanging space and few hangers. The bathroom was a bit shabby. Bar service was inconsistent; due to bad weather and the rooftop bar being out of service, only a limited selection of drinks was available. The bar staff seemed clueless, and when more than one person was at the bar they couldn’t manage. On 1 October the bar staff even suggested we go elsewhere to buy drinks, which was unbelievable—money was turned away and we were served in a nearby hotel. The spa area needs a full renovation; the sauna had exposed nails and heating elements, and the seating felt unsafe. Overall the hotel needs a complete upgrade to justify its price. The location is excellent.
