The view was gorgeous and the air was fresh, surrounded by nature, and the food was delicious; the rooms were spacious enough to sleep comfortably, making for a truly great experience. The shortcut from the station isn’t long, but it’s a steep mountain road, so be prepared for that.

The portions and flavors of the meals were outstanding, especially the rice, which was the best part.

The place felt clean and the staff’s attentiveness was noticeable. I ordered dinner and breakfast, both of which were very tasty, and the overall care made my stay pleasant. Nothing in particular was lacking, except that the goat I kept got distracted and I couldn’t capture good photos.

The room was roomy, set in a beautiful and tranquil environment, which made it convenient for visiting Yoshino. A train rider came to pick us up because the trail up to the temple is quite steep. The town is very quiet in summer, almost deserted, but that suited me perfectly.

The temple sits in a peaceful spot with a stunning view. The staff are very kind and helpful, the food was amazing, and the rooms and other facilities are well equipped and spotless. I recommend joining the morning prayer at the temple.
