I stayed in a double room for ¥1500. The nearby street stall “Bermina” was delicious. I worried about cold showers, but it worked fine, probably because the pipes were heated during the day.

The price matched the room size. The smell could use a bit of improvement—it was somewhat musty, but only slightly. The sink was a bit stiff, and there were ants in the room.

The building used to be a prison, and I love how they only changed what was absolutely necessary. The bed was comfortable, and it’s close to the old town.

Ich hatte einen Bungalow ganz für mich alleine, der sehr geräumig war. Auch das Badezimmer war sehr groß. Es gibt nichts gravierendes zu bemängeln, außer die üblichen Krankheiten, wie ein verkalkter Duschkopf oder der wackelnde Klodeckel
