The location is good, the bed was very comfortable, and the host was friendly. The parking lot is unfortunately muddy and sometimes standing water appears. In the room the window cannot be opened because there is a lot of dirt underneath it, and the bathtub contains hair, so it cannot be used.

The apartment itself was fine. The Scottish Highlands walk in the morning is beautiful by the garden, and you can sit comfortably under the veranda. The bed was very soft for us, and the main pillows were quite flat. A bottle of shower gel in the bathroom would have been a nice touch. We booked the Deluxe Room ten months in advance, but a week before departure we were told it was no longer available. The owner had already rented the place through Airbnb, creating a double booking. Despite our earlier reservation, we were offered a smaller Garden Studio without the amenities we had specifically chosen. As an alternative we could have accepted the other accommodation or paid €70 for an extra night to keep our original booking, which we found unacceptable. In the end we were able to stay in the originally booked apartment thanks to intervention. This whole situation caused unnecessary stress the week before our stay. Upon arrival we received no apology, only an explanation of how the double booking happened.
